Alabamians Ache for Land Use Planning

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.  Shown below are some examples of how the lack of planning is impacting the lives of our fellow citizens.  Because uncontrolled development is consuming forests and farmland, Alabamians are quickly embracing the idea of land use planning. In 90% of Alabama, the only way to protect our homes from nuisances is to buy up all the land around us, and that is not fair.  Zoning  and land use planning protects property owners from nuisances and also protects farmland and forest preserves from encroaching development.
